Energy Storage Systems for residentials

Sparq’s residential ESS assortment includes three different battery solutions. The first one is a wall mounted Powerbox, from 7 kWh to 10 kWh. For larger systems a Powerstation is a good alternative, which is modules from 10 kWh to 20 kWh, installed in a cabinet. This can be offered either as a low voltage or high voltage solution depending on the needs. It is the size of your solar panel installation that determines what kind of battery you need.

If you have a larger installation, it will also set higher requirements on your inverter. With a hybrid inverter it will be possible to transfer power directly into the house, to the grid and to the battery. That makes it possible to control when to store energy, when to use it directly in the building, when to use power from the grid and when to sell energy to the grid. Sparq offers inverters with different characteristics depending on the use and installed system, but our batteries are also compatible with most inverter brands on the market.

Of course, it is possible to extend the system over time by putting inverters and batteries in parallel. It’s also possible to build larger systems for multi-unit housing, public buildings, offices, and industries.
